The Healing Begins

Eleven years ago I met Sanae and Eric on the boardwalk in Santa Monica. “There are no accidents”.  I have felt for all these years that our meeting was destined.  Sanae was in a wheelchair from an auto accident which killed her two golden retriever puppies.  Their mother, Kin, had survived the accident and was very pregnant when we met. My golden retriever, Lexie was only a year old then. Within 2 months one of Kin’s puppies had chosen Lexie and I to be his new family. We called him Sami.

In June I sent Sanae photos of my feet and ankles. Sanae, had healed herself of cancer, healed from the car accident and healed her husband of eczema on his hands.  I knew she could help me so I made an appointment to see her on July 23, 2014 as I was in S. California to see my daughter and family.

This is how my feet looked that day.... swollen... sore... burning.
Sanae treated me with Sea Kelp and went over the macrobiotic diet I would be on to heal.  I spent 4 hours with her.  The kelp gave me the first real relief from pain and burning I had ever had in over 3 years.

I have had to learn a new way of eating but have been very satisfied because I can feel the healing power of the foods I am eating.

After 5 weeks my feet now look like this:

I am so grateful to Sanae and Macrobiotics.  I will share more about the Macrobiotic Diet in future blogs.

My Story Began in 2011

My Story:

In the spring of 2011,  I began developing itchy, scaly skin on my ankles. The itching was so intense that I sought numerous OTC Eczema creams to get relief.  I read everything on the Internet that I could find and tried everything that others had claimed helped them but to no avail.  The eczema spread to my feet, toes, hands and lower back. I had difficulty sleeping and the itching caused me to scratch my skin in my sleep and then would wake me up in the night because of the pain of raw skin abrasions I had caused.

Most personal accounts of eczema sufferers cautioned against using steroids in any form and said, “once you stop them the eczema will get worse”.

As my condition grew worse, I finally sought the advice of a dermatologist who prescribed hydrocorisone cream (1 percent) and Bacitracin for the secondary bacterial infection that I had contracted from the scratching. She said I should move to a more humid climate which wasn’t possible at the time.

For 3 years I used hydrocortisone creams which never cured the eczema but helped to control the itching some.  Over the course of 3 years we spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying new creams and I just got worse. I began eliminating inflammatory foods from my diet and by  early 2014 I was gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, lectin-free and still I got worse.

Then I stopped using the hydrocortisone creams and I GOT EVEN WORSE. At the same time I had just moved into my 2nd used RV in 4 years.  I had no idea that the first RV I bought in late 2010 was infested with BLACK MOLD which was apparently the major contributing factor to the eczema which was causing me so much suffering. I sold that RV to pay off the loan on it and in April of 2014 I bought an even older one for cash.  Little did I know that that RV was even more infested with BLACK MOLD.  Within weeks the eczema on both feet and ankles was so bad that I could barely walk.

I did not find out about the BLACK MOLD infection until late June of 2014 when I sought the help of a Reflexologist and a Homeopathic Practioner in Sedona.  I was living in a black mold  infested RV and only getting worse.

Finally, I sought the counsel of a friend, Sanae Suzuki who is Whole Health Natural Healing Counselor in Santa Monica who had healed herself of ovarian cancer 25 years ago and had healed her husband of eczema on his hands almost 20 years ago and has been helping many of her clients who have eczema.
